These are highlife classics from the 1960s rerecorded in 2003-2008 by great Nigerian artists. The whole album has an insistent supple mid-tempo groove. Juju and some jazzy keyboards are thrown also in the mix. The opening track sets the tone with its sweet vocals, gently bubbling rhythm and melodic touches. Each track is great to listen and relax to.
